Knee Conditions

The knee joint is one of the most common joints in the body to cause problems.  It has a complex movement pattern that involves both bending and twisting forces.  As a result, injuries to the knee affect all age ranges from young sporting injuries such as cruciate tears and meniscal injuries (cartilage tears) to older age groups being affected with wear and tear arthritis (osteoarthritis).

In this section we detail the main conditions that can affect the knee and potential treatments available.
